The Investment

So, what does a U.S. Lawns franchise cost? Probably less than you'd think. When compared to many other franchise opportunities, your financial investment in a U.S. Lawns business is quite small, especially when you consider how much you get in return. You may even qualify to finance the franchise fee and the cost of the equipment you'll need. Still, an important requirement of all our candidates is that they be financially responsible and able to invest in their franchises without jeopardizing their quality of life or putting themselves into too much debt. And we're equally concerned with the intangibles - how much time, energy, and passion you invest in your franchise. We want anyone who is passionate about investing in a U.S. Lawns opportunity to be able to do so, and we want you to succeed, which is why we'll work with you to establish the best way to get your U.S. Lawns franchise up and running.

What Does the Investment Come With?

Your investment covers everything you need to get started with a U.S. Lawns commercial landscaping franchise. Here's a breakdown of some key terms associated with that investment and what they mean:

Franchise Fee: The franchise fee for a U.S. Lawns franchise grants the owner the exclusive rights to use the U.S. Lawns name in their territory. This is a one-time fee that every franchisee has to pay in order to become the owner of a U.S. Lawns franchise.

Training Expenses: Once you pay your franchise fee, you don't just get started with a commercial landscaping franchise - we train you first. You'll fly to our headquarters in Orlando, FL, where you'll learn everything you need to know about the day-to-day operations of your franchise and what to expect on commercial landscaping jobs. You'll leave this training feeling confident as a new business owner because you'll have the knowledge and the support you need to start your franchise on the right foot.

Operating Expenses and Additional Funds: We require that you have at least three months of operating expenses and additional funds set aside when you start your commercial landscaping business with us. This is so that you have enough funds to keep your business up and running as you gain more customers and grow your team. We have created a road map that lays out key milestones you need to hit at certain points. With enough funding to get you started and keep your business open, you can hit these milestones with ease as long as you follow the business model.

If you want to invest in a U.S. Lawns franchise, one of the next steps is to request a copy of the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). This 23-item legal document contains everything there is to know about U.S. Lawns and the franchise opportunity. In it, there is a section call "Item 7" which breaks down the investment and explains what the costs go toward. You will have at least 14 days to review the FDD and return it with a decision on whether or not you want to invest.

don't miss the cut!
